Building dust settles for days after the trades leave, so a normal clean will not shift it. Here is how a post-construction clean actually works in Birmingham, what it should cost, and when to book it.
What it costs in Birmingham
Most Birmingham firms quote per job rather than per hour, because the condition varies so much. As a guide:
- Single room or bathroom refit: £120 to £180
- Kitchen extension or loft conversion: £200 to £320
- Whole house renovation: £350 upwards

The three stages of a proper clean

When to book it
Book the clean at least 48 hours after the last trade leaves, and before carpets or furniture arrive. Cleaning first and fitting later means you pay twice.
